Chef Yassine Lamjarred earned the very 1st title of North African Chocolate Master. After showcasing his wide skillset with convincing chocolate creations and intricate flavour pairings, he was able to trump his competitors. For the very first time in World Chocolate Masters history, he will be representing North Africa at the World Final in Paris.

About the National Selection

On 27th January 2018, 6 contestants from 3 different participating countries competed against each other to win the very 1st title of North African Chocolate Master. 3 rounds. Only 1 winner. The Institut Maghrebin de Management et de Tourisme in Tunisia hosted this special event with Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia all represented. So our chefs really needed to up the ante to make their mark. With staggering precision and crowd-pleasing creations, Yassine Lamjarred eventually took the crown. The jury members were thrilled to declare him the very first North-African finalist.
